CupcakeCamp Vancouver!

Edit: We’ve got enough volunteers, now! Thank you to everyone who responded 🙂

In order to make CupcakeCamp a success, we need volunteers to help us with the planning, serving, and organizing. There’s a lot of work to be done, including:

Getting sponsors and donators to cover the costs of the event. Even though CupcakeCamp is free to guests, there are costs included in paying for the space, renting a PA system, getting tee-shirts printed up, and distributing plates/utensils/cups during the event. If you want to volunteer time to help us find donators/sponsors for the event, we would LOVE and APPRECIATE the help!

Playing ‘bouncer’ during the event and working the registration/check-in table: We’re expecting a pretty big crowd of people, and are going to need someone to work the door and make sure that everyone attending has pre-registered. We also need to make sure that all of the bakers check-in their cupcakes at the door and fill out the appropriate information.

Set-up, serving, and cleanup: Volunteers working the floor will help with set-up, serving (bringing the cupcakes out at the appropriate time) and cleanup during and after the event. Anyone working as a server will basically be the most admired and adored people at the event- you’re responsible for helping distribute the cupcakes to the hungry masses!

If any or all of these jobs sound like a whole lot of fun to you, drop us an email at and we’ll hook you up with more information about the next group meeting prior to the event!
